Opus 44 Publications was founded in 1980 and our music has until recently enjoyed limited circulation, mainly in the greater Glasgow area in Scotland. However we have been urged by our customers to make our catalogue more widely available online.

Michael Philip, Mus.B.(Hons), LGSM, whose music fills our catalogue, has worked with young musicians throughout his career, teaching Woodwind in many local schools in the Glasgow and Lanarkshire area and rehearsing school bands, jazz groups and all kinds of ensembles. He has also served for many years as Musical Director of the YMCA Glasgow Wind Orchestra.
