This highly popular series enables ensembles of almost any combination of instruments to engage with a range of musical styles in a jazz idiom. While being playable by anything from accompanied soloist to full band or orchestra, the music really comes into its own with a mixed ensemble of around 12-15 players.

Each player plays from a short score, giving options to shift between different lines. This provides a dimension of 'arranging in rehearsal' and is one of the attractions of the Jazz Pack Series.
